Facts about Mercy Johnson

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Ozioma  hails from Okene  in Kogi State. She is the fourth child in a family of seven. She watched Genevieve Nnaji in the movie titled Sharon Stone and decided tht she wanted to become a Nollywood actress. In 2001 she approached a dear friend for assistance to feature in a movie, but was unsuccessful in securing a role despite a year of constantly frequenting the National Theatre.
Mercy's first starring role was in 2002 in a movie titled 'The Maid' by Kenneth Nnebue. She played the lead role and has been on a meteoric rice ever since featuring in hundreds of African movies
